Project Manager

General Responsibilities:

The Project Manager will own the successful execution of multiple projects. He or she is responsible for all phases of projects from Launch to Completion, including communication with System Designer, General Contractor, Architect, Interior Designer, Lighting Designer, Engineers, other Trades, e.g. Electrician, and Customer/Client, change orders and other cost and budgetary considerations, quality control, scheduling, training and and post-project follow-up. The Project Manager will assure in advance that all technical requirements for the scope of the project are in place, including floor plans, wire schedules, RCPs, rack drawings, power requirements and site requirements. The PM will work with the production/operations team in the planning and scheduling of him or herself, technicians, and coordinated trades, e.g. Electrician, for the Launch, Implementation Phases, and Site Meetings in order to assure a smooth, reliable and communicative execution of the project. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience with a company specializing in the same or closely related field, ie Installed Electronic Systems, Electrical Contracting or General Construction.
  • Proficient in Project Management Software and Tools.
  • Conversant with AutoCad and/or similar rendering software.
  • Strong knowledge of lighting fixtures, automated shades, networks and installed music and video products.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Multi-tasking in a busy environment.
  • Drivers License.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed in a Company-assigned vehicle but occasionally personal vehicle.
