Job Description: We are seeking a talented and creative Window Treatment and Shade Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, a passion for creating beautiful and functional window solutions, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients, builders, architects, and interior designers to understand their needs, preferences, and budget for window treatments and shades.
  • Provide expert design advice and recommendations for various window treatment options.
  • Understand motorized and automated options with various control systems including Lutron, Savant, Control 4, Crestron or similar.
  • Create detailed design plans, including measurements, material selections, and color schemes.
  • Prepare and present design proposals, ensuring they meet clients' aesthetic and functional requirements.
  • Oversee the ordering and installation process, coordinating with project manager and installation teams to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and emerging technologies in window treatments.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and ensuring their satisfaction with the final product.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Window Treatment and Shade Designer or similar role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your design work and creativity.
  • Excellent knowledge of various window treatment options and materials.
  • Proficient in use of communication and design software such as Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • A degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred but not required.
